Tips for a great report

Be specific about location. Name the section, access point, or landmark so anglers can find the same water.

Log conditions even if fishing was slow. A bad day report is just as valuable — it helps others decide whether to go.

Name the fly pattern and size. "Dry fly" isn't enough — "Elk Hair Caddis #14" is what anglers actually need.
